There is a word , ' Maskh '.
It is certainly a difficut word I will tell you its meaning as well and will also tell you what it means to be 'Maskh' and how it is related to the Sings of Judgement Day .
But before that let me tell you a few stories of 'Maskh' . Let's first listen to the Quranic parable . Then , I will tell you a story from the times of the pious predecessors .
The word 'Maskh' means ' distortion of face and from ' and these incidents have occurred in previous nations and ancient times , too .
I will also tell you if they will happen in the future and how they will take place .
How was the face distorted ?
The human form would change . Someone would turn into a monkey and someone into a dog i.e.
He was turned into a dog
How did this all happen ?
Why did it happen ?
And what actually happened ?
Let's listen to the Quranic parable :-
Allah Almighty has stated this incident inthe Glorious Quran . What happened was that 70,000 peoples from the nation of " Sayyiduna Dawood علیہ السلام " lived in a village called ' Ayla ' onthe seaside near Aqabah . It was a village called ' Ayla ' . This is a famous and legendary Quranic parable . What happened was that they were all well-established , had a wonderful life and they were fishermen .
They would catch fish for a living . They were quite well-off and . Allah had granted them a lot . their lives were going smoothly and they were enjoying life . Now , A trial was imposed on these peoples that they were prohibited from fishing on Saturdays .
The amazing thing was that on Saturdays , more fish were seen and they would be able to catch them more easily . But it was a trial a command from Allah Almighty .
Now , what happened was that ( Devil Shaitan ) told them a trick i.e.
He showed them a way out and said :-
What you can do is make samll ponds and draw some streams from the sea . On Saturday , the fish will enter the ponds through the streams . Close the ponds then and after Saturday you can take out your fish from the ponds .

( Devil Shaitan ) told them this way out but this was the wrong way . Basically , if you think about it , it was also a form of fishing i.e.
Holding the fish from the sea in the ponds first and then catching them later . So , the people became greedy and started doing this .
Now, when they did this they were distributed into groups . Some peoples warned that this was disobedience to Allah Almighty . This is fishing on Saturday which is forbidden and Haram .
But there were around 12,000 people who started following ( Devil Shaitan ) advice . And now the pious people who followed the command of Allah Almighty and the teachings of Allah's Prophet " Sayyiduna Dawood علیہ السلام " broke off all relations with them . They boycotted them socially and erected a wall between themselves and those peoples separating themselves from them .
What happened then ?
When " Sayyiduna Dawood علیہ السلام " came and learned about his peoples actions . They were forbidden by Allah Almighty to catch fish on Saturdays and yet , they caught fish like that on a Saturday . So, he supplicated for the destruction of those peoples .
What happened then ?

A day came when from the other side of the wall where the 12,000 peoples used to live no voice was heard . So these peoples were surprised that nobody had come out from there nor could they hear any voice .
What is the matter ?
So when a person from this nation climbed up the wall and looked across the wall he was shocked to see that all of the 12,000 peoples had turned into monkeys .
Yes , Viewers !
12,000 peoples had turned into monkeys . Their faces had been distorted . So the door was opened and when it was opened and the peoples went there they were astonished that they had humanlike bodies but faces like monkeys . And they were not even able to recognise each other . Well , the monkeys would come to their relatives
smell their clothes and would shed tears . But the relatives could not recognise who it was .
These 12,000 individuals remained hungry and thirsty for three days and finally all the 12,000 peoples left the world ; they died .

this was a torment . It wa such a trial to the nation from Allah Almighty in which allthe peoples succeeded but these 12,000 were turned into monkeys because of disobeying Allah Almighty and earning an unlawful living .

This incident is mentioned in the ( Holy Quran ) .
Where is it mentioned in the " Holy Quran " ?
Let me recite that Quranic verse and its translation to you .
Translation :-
And undoubtedly , you definitely know those amongst you who had transgressed in the matter of Saturday . So , we said to them , 'Become apes despised '.
The divine commandment occurred ; the torment was inflicted on them and the faces of 12,000 peoples were distorted ; they were changed as the torment occurred to previous nations .

One more parable and that is also a heart-wrenching parable .
A pious man says that we were three people who were going to yemen together . One of our companions was speaking ill of " Sayyiduna Abu Bakr " and " Sayyiduna Umar رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ " he was uttering disgraceful words . We used to forbid him again and again but he would not give up his act . When we reached near Yemen and woke him up for Fajr Salah he said , "I have just seen the " Holy Prophet صلی اللہ تعالی علیہ وآلہ وسلم" in my dream and my " Holy Prophet صلی اللہ تعالی علیہ وآلہ وسلم " sat by my head and said to me
'O sinner ! Allah Almighty has dishonoured and disgraced you and younwill be distorted at this very place . Immediately after that both of his legs turned into the legs of monkeys and just ina while his face also turned into a face like monkey . After Fajr Salah we caught him and made him sit on the saddle of a camel i.e. We made him sit on a camel fastened him whith ropes and left from there . At sunset , when we were passing through a jungle we saw a troop of monkeys there .
So the person who had turned into a monkey broke the ropes jumped down from the camel and joined the troop of the monkeys .
We were astonished and stayed there for a while so that we would see whether the monkeys accept him or not .
So , we saw that he went to the monkeys and sat with them .
He would look towards us quite wistfully and his eyes were tearful . After a while , when all the monkeys were leaving from there he also left with the monkeys .
